Prof. Lucio Blandini receives the “Alumnus Siciliae Studium Generale” award

Prof. Lucio Blandini was awarded the “Alumnus Siciliae Studium Generale” prize by Rector Prof. Foti for his outstanding international achievements in the field of “Physical Sciences and Engineering” on February 13th, at the opening of the 591st academic year at the University of Catania. The other three awards went to Olympic champion Rossella Fiamingo (Life Science), Vice President of the International Criminal Court Rosario Aitala (Social Sciences and Humanities), and Country Manager of UBS Italia Riccardo Mulone (Rector's Award).

This award was created on the initiative of Rector Enrico Foti to honor former students who have distinguished themselves through exceptional professional, entrepreneurial, or social achievements. It contributes to strengthening the university's reputation in Italy and worldwide.
