Prof. Lucio Blandini, the new head of the ILEK, Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design, will give insights into his experience as structural and facade engineer exploiting digital tools and methods, in order to manage complexity and raise the quality of built architecture. His lecture called "Design and Costruction in the digital era" takes place on Friday, October 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. on the occasion of the 24th Dresden Structural Analysis Seminar "Reality – Modeling – Structural Design".
The lecture series with 10 lectures by researchers and specialist planners will take place from 9:30-16:00 hrs in the World Trade Center Dresden and is organized by the Institute for Statics and Dynamics of Structures of the Dresden University of Technology.
